Little O' This, My Girl

Bizzy

I’ve got a busy few days ahead of me, so my appearances here might be a tad sparse.  My family arrives for a pre-Christmas visit in six days so Operation Dungeon is in full force as we try to push all our dusty clutter to one side of the basement to make room for our guests.  I also need to bake a few more pans o’ somethin’ good, clean the house from top to bottom, keep Avelyn’s raging diaper rash under control, and get caught up on the sky-high pile of paperwork that needs to be dealt with.  So, let me leave you with this…a shot of my girl.  She’s my favourite.

  • I’ve been wondering where you’ve been. If you need a cleaning break, give me a call.

I’ll try to get in touch with Ma & Pa O tomorrow and get your clothes dropped off to them. I might wedge myself into the suitcase too. Have a good visit!

  • She’s beautiful. Best of luck to you and enjoy the pan o’ whatever and the time with family.

  • She’s one of my favourites too :)

Hope you caught some great footage today :)

  • Gorgeous girl!! What do you do to treat the diaper rash? My 9 month old tends to have really sensitive skin. I find it improves if I let her soak in a baking soda bath a couple of days in a row. None of the diaper creams seem to help much.

  • My little boy had a few really bad rashes when he was in dipers. We used Triple Paste. It was thick enough that it stayed on during the day between diper changes. I think we bought out our local Target’s supply at least twice! :) Good luck! Oh, and those no egg cookie dough balls are the best! My husband and I ate the whole batch in two days! Thank you for sharing the recipe, I’m sure they’re going to be a big hit with our friends!

  • I love her curls ;)
Have a happy few crazy days, then!

  • She really is quite something!

  • And what a sweet one she is!

  • She’s such a magazine baby! Love it :)

  • Good luck with the festivities. I’m ignoring my deadlines.

What a cute girl! My daughter had horrific diaper rash and the thing that worked was putting the hair dryer on a very low setting and (keeping your hand in front to gauge temperature) blow drying the bottom. It completely dried her off which helped tons with the rashes.

  • Aww. I hope you have a fun visit with your family.

And about the lame editor… It’s much better to write how you like to write instead of squishing your writing and your tone to fit the editor’s tastes. Maybe you could start a newsy blog for the town that would compete with the paper… if so, make sure you take out an ad in the paper :)

  • Wonderful shot of a precious one!

Good luck on tackling everything you’ve listed. I have lot of things to do too….
