Everyone has been doing this “25 Random Things About Me” meme on Facebook and I finally followed suit. I am pretty sure the following shall be the highlight of your weekends:
1. One time I had foot fungus on my big toe nail. I had to take special pills to make it go away. I was 13. (It hasn’t come back. Want to trade sandals?)
2. I used to sing a lot but now I barely ever sing. If I ever do have to sing in public I have Anticipation Diarrhea for a couple days before the performance.
3. I have broken both of my arms. Not at the same time, but still, I’m a klutzy kind of gal.
4. I can’t touch cotton balls. They make me cringe.
5. If I could only eat one food for the rest of my life is would be Pizza Hut pepperoni pizza.
6. I don’t want to get pregnant again for quite a while. Or ever maybe.
7. I used to live next door to these three crazy brothers who would, no lie, launch raw squids off their deck with a giant sling shot at the kids who were walking to school.
8. I had a crush on the middle brother. His name was Jared and he loved me back. His note said so.
9. The first time I went to Disneyland I was 22.
10. I just made my very first cheesecake yesterday. It was a chocolate chip Bailey’s cheesecake and, if I do say so myself, it was FREAKING AMAZING.
11. I am not entirely sure how I feel about plastic surgery. If someone were to offer to pay for me to have a boob lift, a tummy tuck and some lipo, I think I just might go for it.
12. Rolo drives me bonkers these days.
13. I bought my wedding dress before I was even engaged.
14. At my grade 8 graduation I wore a dress that was made of, essentially, burlap and I was the valedictorian and a group of us girls sang “Hero” by Mariah Carey.
15. I am a texture person when it comes to food. Things that will never touch my tongue include: mushrooms, gristley meat, anything gelatinous, oh and did I mention mushrooms?
16. I can’t stop chewing my fingernails. It’s worse than you think.
17. My first pet was a tabby cat named Misty.
18. I love the movie “Heavyweights”. It’s about a bunch of kids who go to fat camp and it has Ben Stiller in it before he was famous. Rent it tonight!
19. Instruments I have played: piano (8 years, none of them with any real dedication or practicing), flute (3 months, then I quit), and guitar (I mastered about 7 chords and called it a day).
20. I think I would be a different person and mother if my 2.5 year-old kid still napped.
21. I completed a 10 km race in 2001.
22. I would love a live-in housekeeper.
23. I enjoy movie previews before the feature.
24. When my hair is long I wish it were short, and vice versa.
25. I have two speeding tickets on my driving record, though I deserve many more than that.

#16 and #24 could be on my list. The finger thing is awful, no? But so addicting …
There are too many similarities to count. Instead I will hope to one day meet you in Canada. I’ve got people there.

Oh my gosh! I LOVE “Heavyweights”. It’s my all time favorite! I thought it was just me and my siblings who loved that movie. I have the whole movie memorized.

I hate touching cotton balls. It makes the tips of my fingers hurt for hours. I love that “he loved you back” I’m with you on the Pizza Hut thing, but I like sausage. Love Heavyweights and can’t stand slimy food.

Re # 1. My husband has nail fungus that keeps coming and going. He even lost his nail, but it grew backI have to convince him to use pills. He’s been using home remedies to try to cure it.
I would love a live in house keeper! Life would be so much more fun if I didn’t have to clean toilets or mop the floor! And, movie trailers are the best – could sit and watch them all day … if I had a house keeper! :)
oh how i can relate to #20. all three of my kids stopped napping before 18 months. hell on earth, i tell you ;)
