Crazy Pants

Karenna is all about crazy fixations. Last year it was her winter parka and huge ski boots. Then there were the swim goggles she wore for two weeks straight. Now, her latest obsession is her blue snowpants. She wears them all day long and I can hear the ‘swishswish’ of her legs as she makes her way around the house. What a kook.

  • ha! well, at least you know where she is right?

  • Kids are NEVER boring.

You didn’t want to be bored, right?

  • I love how every child is so different! My boy doesn’t yet have anything that he has clung on to like those blue snow pants. I always hear about how kids will only wear their purple tights or their superman cape or rubber boots in the summer.

  • Look at your view! It’s even more spectacular than before. Lucky duck!

Glad Karenna is enjoying the ski pants. Atleast she’s warm!

  • Simon carries a felt balloon (from an Auntie made book) all over the place with him. He eats with it (yuk), bathes with it and he wakes up clutching it. Kids are weird. I love how she’s into clothing pieces. :)

  • Brooklyn was like that at her age. She had a bunny toque that she wore for about 6 months straight. The only time she had it off was when she was in the bath. Then it was a tiger costume the next year or so. Now she has trouble with transitions…mostly in clothing. She is a creature of habit and needs lots of warning to get used to new things and even then it is often a battle. One good thing, she likes a few articles of clothing and tells me she doesn’t need anything else, meaning more clothing budget for me!

  • My sister was like that! Snow pants in summer, swim suit in the winter!

  • I wish I could convince Matia to do this. We’re renovating, still, and we are heating our home with the oven and space heaters right now. Don’t get me wrong it’s warm enough, but Matia insists on running around the house bare foot in tank tops and shorts. She’s apparently not cold, but I wish she would put on a sweater, or at least ski pants, after all it’s what you wear when your mom is cold!
