Little O' This

Inside the Brain of a Weary Mother

Week two of Boot Camp is going well.

Week three of Weight Watchers is also going well (I’ve lost four pounds…almost rid of the five I gained over the holidays).

Karenna’s tantrums have been out of this world.

My patience reserves are usually dried up by noon. On a good day.

I am half-way through my realty course.

There are 87 hampers of laundry that need to be folded. Again.

I am ready for spring. But it’s January.

Avelyn is learning French and it’s the cutest thing ever.

Brinley is big enough for the exersaucer. Weird.

The sleep deprivation is eating my brain.

Bananas are good.

The end.

  • I wish I could come there and give you a hug and fold all your laundry. (I’m weird – I enjoy the folding part.)

  • Honestly, I think you’re incredible! I know that doesn’t ease the exhaustion or the screaming children, but I hope you realize that you’re doing a great job! :)

  • Well said.

  • The kids will grow up too quickly and before you know it, you’ll be reminiscing about these good ‘ol days. For what it’s worth, you’re doing a heck of a lot for someone who has 3 young ‘uns. Pat yourself on the back and see if you can get Steve or someone to babysit for a little “me” time once in awhile.

  • Bananas are extra good now that they’re 0 points!

  • Avelyn is learning french? She’ll have to show me on Saturday. :)

  • Félicitations Avelyn!!!

  • Oh man. Motherhood is tough! I think if you could take away the total sleep aspect of childrearing, life would be a lot smoother. Sleep rules all and life is so much harder without it.
