I’ve been reading long enough to remember when Avelyn was your challenging child. Clearly you and your husband did exactly the right things to get through that and help her become that beautiful smiley girl (my god, that hair!) Have faith that you will do the same with Karenna!
When Karenna is the lead guitarist/singer in a popular rock band or the captain of an all-girls roller derby team she can point at that picture and tell people she has always had street cred. In fact, this will probably be the cover of her first album.
