My Girl 2.0

Misplaced Halo

Oh, last week was crazy. I went back and quickly scanned my Facebook status updates and they included: Rolo getting hit by a car (he’s OK, but we were both emotionally scarred by the event), multiple ear infections and scary-high fevers, an out-of-towner who was looking to buy a house and wanted me to drive him to 56(ish) properties all weekend long, baby showers, Christmas shopping, work holiday parties, etc. I am tired. And here we are on Monday, back in the swing of boot camp, crying kids and lots of work to do. It’s all good, but sometimes I just feel drained from every pore.

This weekend I got to take Karenna to her very first Angel Breakfast. It’s an event our church hosts for 3 and 3 year-olds, and is a magical morning of crafts, story-telling, yummy food and a visit from real angels singing Christmas carols.

Karenna’s got pull with the Big Guy Upstairs because her Grandpa is one of the angels.

We had a great morning together, just the two of us.

Yeah, that’s her new Picture Face. Send help.

She is so hard, so tough, so unnerving, so wild, and so beautiful.

  • So sweet! And also, last week sounds like it was like living in a blender on high speed! Hopefully this week is less crazy!

  • It seems that since you’ve been posting through her babyhood and through till now that she is truly full of spunk and spirit!

  • She looks so cute :)
