I just found this old photo from the winter on Steve’s phone and I love it so hard: Avelyn’s closed eyes and toothless grin, Karenna’s wild smile and Brinley’s stubby arms stretched overhead.
It will never cease to amaze me how this:
can go to this:
in 0.8 seconds.
She lives in a glass cage of EMOTION, this one.
I know way too many young moms whose lives have been cut short by cancer.
Well, they didn’t actually walk into a bar, but they did go trick-or-treating and got so hopped up on chocolate and high fructose corn syrup that they are still kind of buzzing.
Something has changed in her.
She has become self-aware.
There is a boy her in class who gives her butterflies in her tummy.
She doesn’t like to wear her hair up; she prefers it down by her face.
We spent the past weekend with our church family at Green Bay Bible Camp for our annual Family Camp. It was fun. And exhausting.
