You have a Christmas party to attend and before you leave you spend 15 minutes documenting what you are wearing to that party.
(This is where Steve rolls his eyes so hard they get lodged in his gray matter.)
Yesterday I found this perfect little black dress. At the thrift store. For ten bucks. It’s handmade and fits me like a glove. It came with this really classy Jackie O-style cropped jacket but I opted out of wearing that for the party tonight. Time to show off those shoulders!
Say it with me: “Oooo.” I feel so classy. Now it’s time to go to my (hideous downstairs) bathroom and snap some more photos to show the detail of the dress.
See? It’s got this metallic thread woven throughout the dress to catch the holiday light.
And look, I finally stripped the hideous metallic wallpaper from the bathroom walls. It only took me four years.
The walls are lavender. To match the porcelain of the sink, tub and toilet (*barfs quietly*).
I did my hair with the Whoorl Curl.

Your hair looks beautiful! Whenever I visit Whoorl’s site, I’m motivated to actually do my hair, rather than just let it air dry into the rat’s nest that it usually becomes. Unfortunately that motivation is short lived as I forget about it as soon as I go to a new site. I wish she would come over and just do it for me.

Amanda, that is awesome. I am SOO impressed with how you have transformed your figure. I was showing Brad pictures of you and he was very impressed. Not sure what that means that my husband is saying that you look great- but it’s meant as a compliment. I love the little black dress. thanks for showing the pictures! We have a staff party this friday and I don’t know what I’ll wear- probably jean shorts and a grubby tank top (which is my daily attire)..oh, and flip flops. Always in the flip flops..
