“I felt very ill in the middle of the night and assumed I would be ill this morning so I called in sick to work and got the day off. Now I feel fine,” confessed Adele. “Do you want to hang out?”
“Heck, yes!”
So Adele, Christy and I loaded up the Volvo and took a mini road trip to Kelowna. We stopped at Costco and before commencing shopping we made a mad dash to the cafe (if you can call it that) and wolfed down some fries, some pizza and a hot dog. Then we strolled down the warehouse aisles gathering the important staples. In my cart were: cinnamon buns, gourmet hot chocolate mixes, a Far Side desk calendar, and Avelyn.
It was a good day.
And here’s what happens when a mom (whose nose is apparently so big it can’t help but fill the frame) tries to take a photo with her squirmy baby.

Sounds like a great day. However, I probably would have skipped the cafe and just ate the samples. I am cheap I guess- LOL!
