Poutine is good. Cheese, gravy and fries. How could something that feels so right be so wrong? I have had a (small) order of poutine for the past two days and I think I would really like to make it a daily thing. Like brushing my teeth. I should not be able to go to sleep until I have had some poutine. I wonder if it would begin to feel like a chore after a few weeks. Like, "Darn, it’s ten at night and I still haven’t had my poutine. Guess I’ll have to do drive thru. Steve, watch the baby while I chase my grease."
Looks like that writer’s block is back, hey?

Damn you! Now I am craving a poutine.
I love poutine! But not fast food poutine. Real restaurant poutine. YUM!
I love(d) it, too. And it is WAY too easy to make at home. Of course I know all of this…growing up in MOntreal has its perks, I’ve been eating poutine since I was a wee thing. MUCH better made at home…serously, no need for the drive-thru:)
I haven’t had poutine in a whiel, it must be time. Yummm
Poutine makes me think of Jazz – she introduced me to it :)
A side note: Did you know you can buy little packet to make poutine gravy just like you would for roast beef or the seasonings for a sheperd’s pie? So easy and yummy. With McCain fries and lotza mozza.
not fair – they haven’t heard of poutine yet over here in Scotland… they put curry sauce on their fries instead!
Is Poutine a canadian thing? I am from the states (Texas) and have no idea what it is…but I am inferring it is some type of gravy??? Just curious….
Trav and I just shared a poutine at Costco just the other day. I was only going to have a few bites, but failed miserably. So so goooooooood….. :)
how do you pronounce “poutine?”
