Today I have learned that:
When one is seated at a desk in an air conditioned office it’s easy to make grandiose plans of cleaning the house and making a fantastic dinner upon one’s arrival home. But when one drives home in her sweltering car and steps into her slow-cooked house she is utterly defenseless against the call of Rolo ice cream, Oprah, and the couch.
Also, the font on Movable Type is much smaller than that of Blogger and I have been making many unforgivable spelling mistakes since moving to kickyboots.com. Atrocious, I know. I will try to make more of an effort. But I have squinty eyes and it’s hard to read, OK?

What I wouldn’t give for a Slurpee right now! I’m thisclose to packing the kids in the van to go get one. Except I’m too hot to put in that much effort :)
