Homeward Bound

Tomorrow we will be boarding a plane and jetting across a few provinces, landing at our destination of my parents’ house in Regina.  Despite the inevitably ferocious windchill that will await us and a potentially tumultuous plane ride with an infant who despises sitting still for more than eight minutes, I am thrilled at the thought of spending the holidays with my mom and pop and stinky little brother.
My goal is to consume my body weight in shortbread and fudge, as it is most Christmases.
Wish me luck.
