I have a meeting tomorrow with the editor of our local paper to try to convince him that he should let me write a weekly column about my experiences here in Summerland. I am pretty sure that by telling you all about this in advance I am completely jinxing myself and he shall slam the door in my face and scoff at the lousy excuse for a writing sample I’ve prepared for him. Owell. I am excited and proud of myself for taking this step and trying to create some opportunities.
Wish me luck!
I’ll keep you posted. If the news is good you can all shout, “Hurrah!” and if the news is bad you can all pat me on the back and say, “I’m not surprised.”
Rubber duckies are good for eating.
That is all.

Rubber duckies are tasty that is true! And that one looks like it is getting a face wash. What a cutie!
Good luck tomorrow, if it’s meant to be then it will be. :)
Ah, good luck tomorrow, that’s totally awesome!
Believe in yourself!

Anything written by you is creative and entertaining and hopefully he will see that tomorrow! Love the picture!
Go get ’em, Amanda!

Good luck. I wish you all the best and I am sure that you will impress them with your work and your energy, whether or not they make the right decision. Have a great day!
Rubber duckies are not good for eating if they are made of diisononyl pthalates. Oh and good luck with the paper. You are a good writer.
Amanda, you ROCK! Fingers crossed (although they would be idiots to say no).
You’ll TOTALLY get it! And then maybe I’ll actually read the paper :)
That would be so cool, good luck
Good Luck Amanda! You can do it!
What a cute picture…that’s one for the wedding day for sure. Who doesn’t love a rubber ducky once in awhile.
Best of luck! That’s fantastic, I hope it works out :)
Good luck, Amanda; keep us posted!
I always enjoy your writing, so I would love to see a chance for others to enjoy it to. As my son would say, “Go go go!”
Bath pictures are always priceless.
That’s a great idea. I think you would be a terrific addition to the Summerland Review! Just another reason for me to move back home sooner, so I can read your column! (and the picture of little miss is adorable!)
