Things I learned today:
1. Shopping at Safeway is a much more enjoyable experience then shopping at the Wholesale Club.
2. The smell of the Safeway bakery is beyond heavenly.
3. Walking past the bakery while hungry is a bad idea.
4. Choosing between a donut, cookie, and cinnamon bun is a difficult task.
5. Upon choosing a sweet treat it is very hard to complete the shopping experience without sampling the goods (I chose a sprinkled long john as big as my forearm ).
6. The cashier will ask, "What is this?" as my half-eaten pastry gets scanned through the chekout.
7. I have no shame.

Long johns for you, potato wedges for me! That’s my grocery store snack of choice (& they come in discreet, no-one-knows how many are left containers) That’s at Sav-on-Foods that I like even better than Safeway. Better lighting…it’s all about ambience for me!
We have so much in common.
Pardon my ignorance but what is a long john? I though that long johns we’re underwear. You should not eat undies, even with sprinkles.
Will, a long john is a rectangular-shaped donut with no hole (to maximize surface area).
When chosing between a donut, a cookie and a cinnamon bun, I usually pick them all.
Ohhh. You’re venturing in dangerous territory going shopping hungry. I know myself too well, and always stuff my stomach before I go, because I have a snack fetish, and for some reason, when I am hungry, the chip aisle seems to have a stronger gravitational pull.
I, too, am a salt addict. The cinnamon buns sound good too, though :)
