The sun in shining today and those precious rays of light always seem to make my mood brighter. The plus side of not having curtains? Unobstructed sunlight. It’s been pouring in from every window and I am feeling like this house of mine is indeed a home…there are teriyaki ribs bubbling in the slowcooker, I made a lemon cake today that filled the air with a sweet, yet tart, aroma, and there is this cute little girl who is always hanging around:

**Updated to add, part deux: I accidentally typed baking soda, instead of the intended baking powder, on the recipe. I’ve made the change, but make sure you use the updated recipe or else your cake might taste like, I don’t know, something really sick.

Anytime you put desserts on here they look so yummy! I can only imagine how good they taste. Perhaps you could start an online bakery business so I can just order them direct from you? :)
