Little O' This, Wedded Bliss

Memorable (in a Good Way?)

At aquasize the other night I was too busy gabbing to keep up with the changing movements.  We were doing these arm flails for a bit and then I turned to Jen to chat about something and continued to mindlessly flail long after everyone else had stopped and moved onto the next part of the routine.  Our instructor made sure to point out my folly and I was the laughinstock of the class.  Owell, what else is new?

Whether I am enduring crippling foot cramps, being asked if I would like to wear the leader’s microphone, or having the teacher comment on my huge belly and ask I am having twins, I think I have once again left my mark.  I was, at times, unruly, and loud and silly, but this is nothing new for me.  Sometimes I cringe at my own obnoxious jokes and I feel as though I’m having an out-of-body experience in which I am watching myself be a fool and can do nothing to stop my ridiculous antics.  Call me a ham, a class clown, a menace.  I have heard it all before.

I make Steve roll his eyes at me on a daily basis, whether I’m busting a new move in the kitchen or talking in a strange, freaky voice, or putting my potty mouth into action (I rarely swear, but there’s a lot of actual POTTY-related stuff that comes out of this mouth of mine).

I always tell him, "At least you’ve got a wife who makes you smile!"  and then he nods his head and laughs.

  • You do make things memorable IN A GOOD WAY! It’s cool to be freaky deaky. That’s what I tell myself when Jordan rolls his eyes at me and tells me I’m a loser. :(

  • Amanda, you always were very funny. I would not stop being you, except maybe posts about hidden cameras in the bathroom. :) Stever will appreciate you being your authentic self more than he will remember rolling his eyes at you. That is what I admire so so much about Jen. She is who she is.

  • You are a delightful menace.

  • Oh Amanda, I love that side of you! I especially love your crazy voices and facial expressions!

  • I don’t know you, but judging from the pictures you’ve posted in the past and this description it sounds like you’re quite a lot of fun to be around.

Everyone is quirky (I’m often a self-proclaimed dork), embrace it!

  • I think being memorable in any way is a good way. I sure don’t remember anything negative about you. Are you going to pick up aquasize again after the baby is born? I sure do enjoy the stories!

  • You ARE a nut. That’s why we love you :)
