Avelyn has been fighting a fever and flu for four days now: chills, dizziness, vomitting, aches, the whole she-bang. We’ve been laying low, trying to keep the symptoms under control and are hoping she turns the corner soon. Also, that it doesn’t spread like wildfire through our family.

A couple weekends ago our Uncle came for a visit and he’s got a beautiful Canon 5D that he let me play around with. A couple of the shots made their way to me and I just love them!
