I like to wear cute summery clothes: airy skirts, light tanktops and flimsy flip-flops. I also like to go for longish walks with Avelyn. However, I refuse to wear my paper-thin flip-flops for walks since it aggravates my plantar fascitis so I just slip my runners on and can’t be bothered to change my outfit. I am such a frump.
PS: Like my puce* socks? I thought so.
*Um, apparently I’m a dummy. I always thought puce was a yellowy-greenish colour. Guess I was a little off. I guess my socks are more of a chartreuse. Thanks for the clarification, Beckay!

Thats hot. But I must tell you, being a designer and all, puce is actually a colour ranging from a dark purplish brown to dark red. Just so ya know. Love the scrolldown fug.
Interesting. I always thought that puce was greenish. Ya learn something new everyday.
Is Avelyn in that stroller somewhere?
Very nice! I sense a fashion award coming your way!
lol..I do the same thing..and just hope no one pays attention..lol…Love the stroller..i have the same one..heheh…isnt it Awsome to push!
Woo hoo. Those NBs are hot, hot, hot. Definitely SILCGH.
i can’t believe yu’re wearing that outfit with those shoes. (shelley hangs head in shame) ;)
I too thought that’s what puce was…interesting.
haha! :)
I do the same thing – walking with kiddos requires good shoes but then we’d never get to wear anything but jeans!
I always assumed puce was yellowish-green, as well (I think it’s the whole being very close to “puke/puss” connotation thing), when I looked it up, I was very suprised. Since I have –zero– fashion sense, I will refrain from commenting on your actual outfit. So long as your comfortable…
I don’t think you are capable of pulling off a fug. :)
I also always thought puce was yellow-green! I’m very confused.
Are you my 7th grade lesbian gym teacher. I think she used to wear dress cloths with sneakers. Love the look…I know what you mean. Fashion or function, fashion of function. I have a pretty homely hodgepodge walking look I put together too….have a lovely corn on one foot that is slowly taking over my body. We sound like ladies in a nursing home.
i always thought puce was that color as well (actually a little more brown than that, but pretty much,) until my artist friend set me straight. common mistake i gather.
Oh, Paris in Puce! Anyone who’s seen the horrendously wonderful TV movie Dance Till Dawn knows what I’m talking about! Rock on, Christina Applegate. :)
