This past weekend we loaded up my sweet minivan with some of my closest girlfriends and we headed out to Rockridge Canyon just outside of Princeton, BC for a Women’s Retreat. It was everything we ‘d hoped it would be and more; the perfect combination of adventure, relaxation and tacky bridesmaid dresses.

If you ever get a chance to go to this retreat, then DO IT. The facility is phenomenal, the food is incredible and the activity options are endless. We careened down a zip line, hiked to the top of a mountain, did the ropes course, went dragon boating and kayaking and wake boarding. And also drank lots of coffee.

Bonds were deepened, new friendships were forged, and lifetime memories were made.

It was so wonderful being surrounded by women from all walks of life, in the midst of very different stories, coming together to share in the fun. It was spiritually challenging and uplifting, emotionally encouraging, and physically refreshing to take a break from the responsibilities of life.
