My Girl

Humour Me

I know I’ve been posting a lot of baby pictures this week, but when there’s a subject like this who is reaching a milestone a day, it’s hard not to:

Her first pigtails.  I think all that’s held in each elastic is a foot-long sideburn that has been raked up the side of her head and pinned in place.

And here is the “after” shot of dinner.  Hamburger Helper makes a great meal (not really, but that’s how the jingle goes, right?) and an even greater mess.  I love her puzzled expression,as though she’s saying, “I am covered in chunks and I am pretty sure there’s ground beef in my bum crack.  A little help here?”

  • It’s like she is the cutest little demon child ever in that picture with the pigtails. Adorable!

  • Okay, the pigtails are the funniest/cutest thing I’ve seen all week.

    THANK YOU.

p.s. What slicking agent did you use to keep her hair in place?

  • AAAAAH! PIGTAIL! *weeps*

  • So. CUTE!! Those pigtails are SWEET :)

  • Awww…A true little girl with piggies! Love it! The messy look is pretty cute as well!

  • Love the piggie tails… and that expression in the second picture is priceless!

  • I love the after dinner picture. We’re just geering up to start the journey of Brooklyn feeding herself and I laugh to myself every time I think of it. So much fun watching kids eat! And I love the pigtails. Even if it is just a sideburn they’re so cute. Isabella finally got her first pigtails for her two year pictures. I just love when little girls look even more girlie!

  • Oh my goodness, those pictures are priceless.
    What a cutie you have.

  • So cute!!!!! I can’t wait for that day. I am so happy I have a girl

  • She is adorable! LOVE the pigtails.

I did my interview (finally)…sorry for the delay!

  • Oh the cuteness! That pigtail photo is off the charts on the cute-o-meter.

  • Sorry, it’s me again. I just had to see the ponytails again.

  • Ew. THat hamburger helper looks like Avelyn vomited on herself :P

  • I thought you wanted us to humor the way you insist on spelling “humour” (or “colour” or “armour,” etc….) :-)
