Our days have been starting very early. Avelyn usually rouses around five a.m. which is when I stumble into her nursery, toss a bottle of warmed milk in her crib, and pray she’ll drink herself back to sleep. She usually dozes, milk drunk, for 45 minutes then she screams to be set free from her crib and the day begins in earnest.
I am tired. But one look at this kooky kid makes the sunrise worth it.

Where you live looks so dreamy! It’s like the central coast of California.
Avelyn is darling! :)
Avelyn is so cute. Even so, 6am is early. I can relate. All of my girls are up and about by 6-630. Thankfully Delaney can now get everyone breakfast(and wake me by 715 so we aren’t late for school)
That last picture convinces me that she is ABSOLUTELY your daughter!!!!!! Haha!!!!!
You have such a beautiful view…It’s no wonder she wants to get up when the sun does!
What a honey-bun! I love her. :)
What a beautiful little girl! I am sure having that face greet you at six ‘o clock makes it a little easier to face the day!
Winter will come soon enough and with it later sunrises!
those are gorgeous pictures! When did she get so mature? (And I’m with ya on the 5am wake ups!)
If I had to get up at that ungodly hour, that view would definitely make it worth it. She is ridiculously cute Amanda..seriously, pinky swear.
