Finding childcare for Avelyn while I’m working this short-term full-time stint has been a challenge. Thankfully I have some willing friends and family who have opened their homes to my little wild child and catered to her every whim while I toil away at the (air conditioned!) office. A huge thanks goes out to Sue, Tianna, Heather and Christy for helping me out and taking such good care of my girl. I know she can be a handful at the best of times and anyone willing to brave a blueberry diaper from a child other than her own is a hero in my books.
Today Christy watched Avelyn and when I went to pick her up she casually mentioned, “I took a few pictures of Avelyn today; wanna see?” She ushered me into her computer room and proceeded to show me the (not lying) 200 photos she had snapped and edited using Adobe Lightroom. I am a lucky friend. Here’s a peek at one of the shots:
