Little O' This

Ode To My Stat Counter

A while back I installed an invisible stat counter so I could check out who is reading my blog. It’s fun.  I feel like I am a peeping tom who is secretly watching other peeing toms.  So many lurkers, so little time.  I found a blog of a woman who just had a baby boy a few days before Avelyn was born.  Her blog is great and on her sidebar I found something that made me laugh out loud while I was all alone on the couch.  It’s funny.  You should check it out.  Make sure you start at the beginning and scroll through all the entries.
In other news, I rammed my loose body into a pair of pre-pregnancy jeans today!  Granted, the muffin top was more than a little disheartening, and my thighs looked like sausages about to burst from their casings, but still…it felt good.

  • I am still having trouble feeling comfortable in my maternity pants! I only wore them up to 7 months partly because it got too darn hot and partly cuz they got too darn tight!

Good for you for wearing REAL jeans!

  • Ahh! I’ve been found out! :) I have been enjoying your blog, you sweet baby Avelyn (is super cute!!) is actually exactly 6 month younger then my daughter, and they weighed the same at birth too, funny coincident.
About the jeans, as I am sure others have told you, it will get better. Trying them on periodically though show you just how much progress you really have made though.

  • what site did you use for your tracker? i have been trying for a while, just can’t find one that works real well. Let me know please

  • I lurve my hidden stat counter :)

You ranked right below Dooce. Look at you go!

  • That diary was freaking hilarious! I laughed out loud by myself in my computer room. The voices, the illustrations, the expression, everyone should go check it out. It’ll brighten up your day.
(By the way, I went to Capes with you, but I was a Brown back then).

  • That was terribly funny. Made me feel like searching for my old ancient diaries and having some more laughs.
