While at work the other day I got a phone call from a woman in Summerland whom I’ve known for quite some time. She confessed, “I was reading your blog and saw that you needed a vacuum. Want ours?”
Moments later she dropped this off:
Turns out it had been collecting dust in her closet for the past few years since they had hardwood floors installed and they no longer needed the powerhead for their lack of carpet. I was dumbfounded by her kindness and am so thankful for this new upright beast of a machine. She cleaned it up all nice and included a bunch of refill bags and all the nifty attachments. Thanks, Patti! I’ve vacuumed two days in a row since receiving this motorized gift.

We had that vacuum for years, and loved it.
Then, something terribly went wrong…
We smelled something burning, and the vacuum went kaput!
I haven’t bought it’s replacement. I simply don’t have the heart yet.
