Sometimes people suck. They can be rude and ignorant and full of ill intentions. But sometimes people don’t suck. They can be downright swell, actually.
So, prenatal class number three went well last night. Except for the fact that I was in a foul mood for the entirety of it, and for no real good reason.
That is what I have been doing all day: personally training my replacement for my job. The lady who has been hired in my place is so sweet and I think she is really going to flourish in the position.
This long weekend has been busy, busy, busy! We’ve had many visitors passing through and it’s been good to reconnect with long-lost friends and meet some new ones too.
When Steve and I were first married we lived in a little apartment in Kamloops, where we both attended university. I look back on our year there as one filled with love and laughter and freedom.

When one is seated at a desk in an air conditioned office it’s easy to make grandiose plans of cleaning the house and making a fantastic dinner upon one’s arrival home.
