You see that pair of skid-marked undies in my laundry hamper? Those are mine. I pooped myself quite a few times yesterday when I realized that kickyboots.com had been overtaken by some weird shoe company page.
I like to wear cute summery clothes: airy skirts, light tanktops and flimsy flip-flops. I also like to go for longish walks with Avelyn.
Despite the overcast skies, today has been bright, in my heart, that is. Nothing ground-breaking to report, just a few happy little things to note:

One life. That’s all we get. And that life is a series of choices which leads us down a certain path. There are times when I wish we could make more than one choice and have the chance to live parallel lives.
Before he hopped into bed last night, Steve asked, “Where’s Rolo?”
“I think he’s curled up on the La-Z-Boy recliner in the carport,” I replied.
There was a pause.
“Mom, you are so lame. This photo op is totally forced and posed and I am wearied by being dragged into your incessant self-portrait taking.
